After an entire winter with infected ears, Bowen will be going in next week to have tubes placed.
This is good news!
My baby will finally get some relief from the pain, and yucky antibiotics (and upset tummy that comes with them) and he can learn to walk...really walk, not the drunk stumbling he does now.

This is how tiny the solution is.

I'm glad he's getting tubes - I hope it will make life better for both of you! My youngest sister's plague of ear infections were cured by tubes! Just don't forget the earplugs when he swims! :)
That is great for him to finally find relief. Hayes has had an ear infection this week.
Isn't that how it is most of the time -- something so tiny can make the biggest difference!? :)
P.S. I'm jealous you guys are escaping the impending hideous weather...
Good luck with the tubes, they really are WONDERFUL! My son is on his 2nd set, I'm on my first, and they are every bit as wonderful as they claim! Watch out, though, because they won't have the same symptoms when they do get infected. My son went to the dr. yesterday with a high temp and his ear was terribly infected with absolutely no pain. Good luck!
Poor baby...but how wonderful that he'll find get some relief (both in his ears and his bottom).
Jake got tubes when he was 2 and it changed our lives! No more ear infections!!
I hope this allows you to leave pediatrician world!! I'm glad he will get some relief (and you too!) And man did I speak to soon about the nebulizer- we are now the proud owners of a penguin.
I hope they give him relief!!! Chloe was talking more than ever after her surgery (I could tell a differnce the same day)..
Sending prayers your way!!!
