What a dollar can buy...

Our weekend was a little different - Ben didn't have school Friday and Bryce had to work all weekend, so usually I would just head to Texas...well, I've had a cold plus it's hard on the kids to spend 7-8 hours driving in one weekend so we stayed home. We didn't do anything exciting beside some errands and shopping. Old Navy had another famous $1 sale (that my sister told me about but I never saw the commercial myself so I've decided my husband is right - I don't watch enough adult tv). Anyway this time it was hats & scarves...

The kids were excited to try theirs out. I'm thinking Ben has just about outgrown toddler sizes and oops! I forgot to get him a scarf. And yes, they did actually need these outside today, it's very chilly here. Our other dollar bargain was found at Michael's- they spotted these nifty holiday stamps and any new "craft" project is a good one, so let the stamping begin....

Brinley chose the ornament stamp and Ben wanted "noel".

I think he just likes it because it has letters, like the stamps his teacher uses : )

What bargains!

I love dollar stuff...
Michaels
Target
Dollar Store etc. etc.

I have yet to catch the dollar sale at Old Navy tho! I did however see the commercial but figured what the heck would my kids need scarves and hats for? Dress up?
