My babes at Babe's

Today we headed down to Texas for Easter.

It's Bowen's first time to go!

He was very excited...

really, he was...

and it wore him plum out before we even left.

We decided to stop at Babe's Chicken Dinner House in downtown Sanger, TX.

It was our first time to eat there so of course I had to take pictures.

Who could pass up a giant chicken photo op??

It was strictly home cooking, family style restaurant and it was yuuummy!

I loved a sign they had hanging in there that read "We don't do skinny, we chunky dunk" - LOL.

Love small town Texas : )


We made it to Nece & Pawpaw's where the kids played & fished until we headed to Dallas for dinner at El Fenix with some friends.

It was great to catch up with them.

One couple has children born within weeks of Brinley & Bowen and the other couple is due with their first in June, so there was lots of baby talk at the girls' end of the table.

And this is what happens when you let your 4 year old run around and take pictures, so that you can talk.

And I don't think Brinley chewed it this time (at least Ben didn't get a picture of it if she did).
